GoEaseAuto is not responsible for damage, injury, loss, or product failure caused by incorrect use, incorrect installation, incorrect compatibility assumptions, failure to follow instructions, misuse, abuse, unauthorised modification, or use outside the product’s intended purpose.

You agree to use all products safely, responsibly, and strictly according to the product instructions.

All prices are displayed in South African Rand (ZAR) unless stated otherwise.

We reserve the right to change prices, promotions, discounts, product availability, delivery fees, and product information at any time without prior notice.

A product being listed on the website does not guarantee that it is in stock or available at the time of order processing.

If an item becomes unavailable after you place an order, we may contact you to offer:

  • A delayed delivery option where applicable

We reserve the right to correct pricing errors, product errors, or website errors. If a product is listed at an incorrect price due to a mistake, we may cancel the order and refund you.

10. Delivery and Shipping

We aim to process and dispatch orders within a reasonable time, but delivery times are estimates and may vary depending on your location, courier delays, stock availability, public holidays, weather, operational issues, strikes, high-volume periods, or other events beyond our control.

Customers are responsible for providing accurate delivery details, including:

  • Any access instructions required for delivery

GoEaseAuto is not responsible for delays, failed delivery attempts, returned parcels, or additional courier charges caused by incorrect or incomplete customer information.

If a parcel is returned to us because of incorrect customer details, failed delivery, refusal to accept delivery, or customer unavailability, the customer may be responsible for additional delivery charges to resend the parcel.


11. Delivery Timeframes and Non-Delivery

We will make reasonable efforts to deliver your order within the estimated delivery timeframe.

Where delivery is delayed, we will attempt to assist where reasonably possible.

If an order cannot be fulfilled within the legally applicable period or agreed period, you may have rights under South African law to cancel the order in certain circumstances. South African e-commerce guidance recognises that online orders must generally be performed within the agreed period or within 30 days where no period is agreed, with remedies available where performance does not occur.


12. Risk and Ownership

Ownership of the products passes to you once full payment has been received and the products have been delivered to your nominated delivery address, unless otherwise required by law.

Risk in the products generally passes to you once the products have been delivered to the delivery address provided by you.

If you arrange your own courier or collection method, risk may pass when the product is handed to your chosen courier or representative.


13. Returns, Refunds, and Exchanges

Returns, refunds, and exchanges are governed by our Return & Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

For online purchases, South African consumers may have a cooling-off right under the ECT Act, generally allowing cancellation within 7 days after receiving goods in eligible cases. The Consumer Goods and Services Ombud notes that where the cooling-off right applies, the supplier must refund payments made, minus the direct cost of returning the goods.

Products may also be returned where they are defective, damaged, unsafe, poor quality, or not as described, subject to applicable law and inspection.

Customers must follow our return process and may be required to provide proof of purchase, photos, videos, packaging evidence, and a description of the issue.


14. Defective Products and Warranty

Some products may include a supplier, manufacturer, or limited store warranty, depending on the product.

Warranty terms may vary by product and supplier.

A warranty does not cover:

Where required by South African law, GoEaseAuto will provide the appropriate remedy, which may include repair, replacement, or refund depending on the circumstances.


15. Promotions, Discounts, and Coupon Codes

Promotions, discounts, coupon codes, bundle deals, and special offers may be subject to additional terms.

Unless stated otherwise:

  • Promotions are valid for a limited time only.

  • Discounts cannot be exchanged for cash.

  • Discount codes must be applied at checkout.

  • Discounts cannot always be applied after an order is placed.
