GoEaseAuto is a South African online store that sells car-related accessories, emergency tools, and convenience products, including portable tyre inflators, portable jump starter kits, car vacuums, phone holders, emergency lights, and other vehicle accessories.
This Return & Refund Policy explains how returns, refunds, exchanges, defective products, damaged items, and order cancellations are handled.

1. South African Consumer Rights
This policy is designed to comply with applicable South African consumer protection laws, including the Consumer Protection Act, 68 of 2008, and the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act, 25 of 2002.
Nothing in this policy is intended to remove, limit, or reduce any rights that you may have under South African law.
South African online shoppers generally have a 7-day cooling-off period for online purchases, and customers may also have rights where goods are defective, unsafe, poor quality, or not as described. Defective goods are generally covered by the Consumer Protection Act’s implied warranty of quality for up to 6 months from delivery, unless the defect was caused by misuse, alteration, abuse, or failure to follow instructions.
2. 7-Day Cooling-Off Returns for Online Orders
Because GoEaseAuto operates as an online store, you may request to return your order within 3 calendar days of receiving it, even if the product is not defective.
To qualify for a cooling-off return:

The product must be complete with all accessories, cables, attachments, adapters, manuals, carry bags, and parts.

For cooling-off returns, the customer is responsible for the direct cost of returning the goods, unless the product was defective, damaged on arrival, or incorrectly supplied.
Once we receive and inspect the returned product, we will confirm whether the return has been approved.
3. Defective, Faulty, or Poor-Quality Products
If a product is defective, faulty, unsafe, poor quality, or not reasonably suitable for its intended purpose, please contact us as soon as possible.
Under South African consumer law, where goods fail to meet required quality standards within the applicable period, the customer may be entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund, depending on the circumstances and in line with the law.

4. Damaged, Incorrect, or Missing Items
If your order arrives damaged, incorrect, or missing items, please contact us within 7 days of receiving your order.

5. Items That Cannot Be Returned
We may refuse a return, refund, or exchange where:

This does not apply where the product is defective, unsafe, or incorrectly supplied in a way that gives you a legal right to return it.
6. Product-Specific Return Conditions
Because GoEaseAuto sells vehicle-related tools and accessories, products must be used carefully and according to instructions.
Portable Tyre Inflators
Returns may be refused if the product was damaged by overheating, overuse, water exposure, exceeding pressure limits, incorrect charging, or failure to follow usage instructions.
Portable Jump Starter Kits
Returns may be refused if the product was damaged by incorrect battery connection, reverse polarity misuse, overcharging, water damage, impact damage, use on incompatible batteries, or failure to follow the safety instructions.
Car Vacuums
Returns may be refused if the product was damaged by vacuuming liquid, ash, large debris, sharp objects, or materials not suitable for the device.
Phone Holders and Mounts
Returns may be refused if the product was damaged during installation, removed incorrectly, installed on unsuitable surfaces, or returned with missing parts.

8. Return Shipping
For cooling-off returns where the product is not defective, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs.
For defective, damaged, or incorrect products, GoEaseAuto will assess the claim. If the product is confirmed to be defective, damaged on arrival, or incorrectly supplied, we will assist with the appropriate remedy in line with South African law.
Customers are responsible for ensuring that returned products are safely packaged. GoEaseAuto is not responsible for products damaged in return transit due to poor packaging by the customer.
We recommend using a tracked courier service when returning products.
9. Inspection of Returned Products
All returned products will be inspected before a refund, replacement, exchange, or store credit is approved.

For non-defective sale items returned under a cooling-off return, the product must still meet all return conditions listed in this policy.

Courier timelines, banking timelines, supplier assessments, and payment provider processing times may affect how long the final resolution takes.
